Nic Forrest has been immersed in the art world for more than 20 years. Throughout his career he has held a variety of different roles including art critic, art market analyst, advisor, curator, and dealer in fine art. Today, based in London, Nic is pleased to be able to provide expert services to art collectors, galleries, and museums around the world.
Nic has a BA (Art History and Criticism) and post-graduate qualifications in Art Authentication and Art Business. He founded the Art Market Blog in 2010 and has been published in a number of magazines including The Art Investor, Graal Magazine, Art Etc., Australian Art Collector, Modern Painters, Art + Auction, Fabrik Magazine, and Art and Investment magazine.
He has written for many websites including ArteryNYC, Worthpoint UK, BLOUIN ARTINFO, and Saatchi Online, and has made several radio appearances (both nationally and internationally) as an art market expert. He has received press from the likes of The New York Times, Conde Nast Portfolio, and Times of London.
